Top to bottom of the world on a motorbike – The personal challenge of a lifetime

Nick from the Harvey Marketing company is currently indulging in the trip of a life time as he heads from Alaska to Argentina on his biggest personal challenge yet. Nick is travelling with his wife by motorcycle on a journey which will take about 9 months and will cover close to 25,000 miles in total. This is the travel blog for their journey: www.bootsboatsandbikes.co.uk which provides regular features, updates and posts.

So far Nick and his wife have encountered bears, avoided Mexican bandits, been on the fringe of tropical storms and now they are just finishing Central America as they head for a boat to take them and their motorbike over the Darien Gap at the end of November. Nick and his wife hope to return during the first quarter in 2012 when they finish their honey moon with a difference in Tierra Del Fuego in Argentina which is the most southerly tip of the Americas.

Nick is already looking forward to next year when he promises to bring fresh enthusiasm and launch new areas of the business. For now though, he is intrepid traveller and man of leisure; here is their latest travel post.
